Meet the Author
Suzanne Haley is a narrative nonfiction author and independent researcher with a deep passion for uncovering the truth behind a 58-year-old Cold War mystery. While not formally trained in archival history, she taught herself to work with historical records while writing *Shadows Over Sumter*, following every lead she could find. Suzanne is dedicated to getting as close to the truth as possible and sharing the human stories hidden in the files.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Suzanne views every document as a discovery and every hollow silence as a story demanding to be told. She remains relentless in her pursuit of the facts, spending countless hours meticulously piecing together fragments to bring hidden realities into the light.
